ABOUT US
Stars Therapy Services is a leader in providing Assessments and Early Intervention for children from birth to age 3 with developmental delays in a naturalistic environment. This includes providing Speech, Physical, and Occupational Therapy using evidence-based practices, while also maintaining cultural sensitivity. We are a contracted, dedicated service provider through the San Andreas Regional Center that services families throughout 4 counties: Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Stars Therapy Services is currently seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic high-volume Scheduler to work from our office in San Jose, CA. This position requires language proficiency in both English and Spanish.

ROLE OVERVIEW
A Client Support Specialist (CSS) processes referrals and educates families on the steps and procedures to access care. He/she provides excellent customer service with exceptional phone etiquette and professionalism, researches and communicates staffing coverage needs per assigned region, and maximizes a family’s service hours based on their authorization and availability.

Director of Intake & Scheduling

 

Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
● Extensive direct experience in a similar role (high volume staff/client scheduling)
● Ability to multitask and prioritize, with high attention to detail
● Professional oral and written communication and comprehension skills
● Effective de-escalation skills, and ability to quickly adapt to and handle changes
● Ability to problem solve both independently and collectively
● Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
● Skilled in collaborating with colleagues and leadership
● Proficient in Google-Suite and Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new technologies/medical record systems
● Experience in early intervention/ABA preferred but not required
● Bilingual in Spanish required

BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
● Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel to office location. Valid driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance, and clean driving record
● Ability to obtain DOJ background clearance
● Ability to read, comprehend, and write communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means
● TB and COVID Vaccinations (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
● Medical scheduling: 1 year (Preferred)
